Paid Surveys FAQ (by Chris Price)

The biggest thing to hit the internet in recent months is paid surveys.
Paid Surveys actually aren't that new. People have been taking surveys for
money for over thirty years now. But lately alot of websites are popping up
claiming to pay you thousands of dollars for taking paid surveys online.

of these websites have nothing to do with paid surveys, market research, or
any other type product tests or focus groups. They simpy pose as paid surveys
to get you to buy a product or subscribe to their mailing list so they can sell
your information to third parties.

However, there are several companies that really do pay you to take surveys
online. These are market research firms that are hired by major companies to
conduct research studies of their products or advertising methods. Big
corporations spend Billions of dollars every year on advertising. They then
hire market research companies to see if their advertising is working. In return
market research companies will pay you a small fee to test a product or give your
opinion of a commercial or other type of advertisement.

With so many paid survey scams out there it is difficult to tell the real from
the fakes. Below is a list of questions commonly asked about taking paid surveys

Can I Really Get Paid To Take Surveys Online?

Believe or not the answer is yes. As I explained earlier, there are several
companies that will pay you to participate in paid surveys, focus groups,
product tests, and even mystery shops.

Will I Really Make $250 An Hour?

NO! It is claims like these that cause everyone to think that paid surveys is a
scam. It is possible to be invited to participate in a focus group that pays $250
and only takes an hour of your time. But you will be lucky if you were to get more
than one of those a year. They average paid survey pays between $5 and $20.

Should I Pay To Join A Paid Survey Site?

NO! NEVER! A legitimate paid survey site would never make you pay to work
for them. Most sites that ask you to pay are simply directories of companies that
you can join to take paid surveys. Lots of time these directories are outdated and
worthless. There are lots of websites that offer the exact same information for free.
You are usually fooled into joining one of these paid membership sites by claims
of making thousands of dollars a month. Those sites don't even send paid surveys!

How Much Can I Expect To Make?

That all depends on you. You can make a couple dollars a month with one
paid survey company. Or you can make a few hundred with several. It all
depends on how many surveys you take. In order to make hundreds a month you
would have to register with several paid surveys companies. Most companies will
send only a few paid surveys a month. Although there are a few that will send several
paid surveys a week. So the logic is... the more paid survey companies you are registered
with, the more paid surveys you will be invited too, and the more money you
will make taking paid surveys online. You will usually be asked a few questions prior
to taking a survey to see if you fit the demographics they are looking for
for that particular paid survey. You will not be qualified for all paid surveys.

How Do I get Paid?

Each paid survey company will have it's own payment system. Some will send you
a check for each survey you take. Some pay you through Pay Pal. Others use
a points system where you earn points for each paid survey and the points can be
cashed in for cash payments, gift cards, or other merchandise. Some paid surveys
will enter you into drawings or sweepstakes. Although these do not always pay, the
odds are not that bad. Sometimes the survey may pay $100 to 100 people who
took the survey. Which means if 1,000 people take that survey your chances of
winning are 1 in 10. And they are usually pretty short surveys.

Where Can I Find Real Paid Surveys Without Paying For a Membership?

There are several Free Paid Surveys Directories online. Try Doing a search for "Taking
Free Paid Surveys Online" at . Or refer to the link at the bottom of this page
for a site that lists lots of legitimate paid surveys. Once again, Never Pay A Fee To
Join a Paid Survey Site.

Paid Surveys (by Chris Price)

Paid Surveys, Free Paid Surveys, Get Paid to Take Surveys Online!

Thousands of ads all over the internet claim you can make hundreds of dollars an hour taking paid surveys online. This is simply not true. The truth is, you can make some good money taking paid surveys. But not enough to quit your day job. In this article I will tell you exactly how to make money taking paid surveys and how to avoid paid survey scams.

Avoiding Paid Survey Scams:

The easiest way to avoid being scammed is to research a company before you join it. Find reviews or forum postings from other people who have been involved with particular paid surveys. Also, beware of companies trying to sell you something. There is no reason you should have to pay to take paid surveys. There are many sites out there that will try to get you to join their paid surveys database for anywhere from $20 to $60. That is a waste of money. Those sites do not send paid surveys. They only give you a list of paid surveys sites you can join. Free paid surveys databases can be found all over the internet for free.

Getting paid to take surveys online:

The first step to taking paid surveys is obviuosly finding paid surveys companies to join. There are several free paid surveys directories you can use. These directories have lists of hundreds of paid surveys you can join. You can easily find a free paid surveys directory by doing a search on google for "free paid surveys online". Or refer to the link in my signature at the bottom of this page.

Once you have found a list of paid surveys the next thing you need to do is join a few. In my opinion the best paid surveys companies are NFO My Survey, Global Test Market, Survey Spot, Survey Savvy, NPD Online research, American Consumer Opinion, Test Spin, Lightspeed Research, ECN Research, Greenfield Online, GoZing, and Pinecone Research. Signing up for all of those would take about 30 minutes. And would almost guarantee that you would receive at least one paid survey a day, if not more. There are also several hundred other paid surveys you can join to make even more money. Most do not send paid surveys as frequently as the ones I just named.

Now all you have to do is check your email. You will start receiving invitations to participate in paid surveys soon after registering with these companies. I would also suggest getting an email account especially for your paid surveys. That way you don't accidentally delete them. Once you are established with a few paid surveys companies you may start to receive alot of invitations. So a seperate email address for your paid surveys is the best way to go.

Taking Free Paid Surveys Online By Chris Price

Free Paid Surveys, Get Paid To Take Surveys, Take Online Surveys for CASH!

More than likely you have seen ads like these all over the internet. And like most people
you are probably wondering if they are true. Can you really get paid to take surveys
online? Or is paid surveys just another scam? Surprisingly, the answer is yes. You can actually
get paid to take surveys online.

There are many companies that will pay you to participate in online surveys, focus groups,
and even product tests. These are market research companies that are paid by large
companies to find out what the public feels about their products. They want to know if their
advertising camppagns are working and how everyday people feel about their products. Large
corporations spend billions of dollars a year on advertising. So to pay you a few dollars to find out
if their advertising is working is not that big of a deal. So they hire these market research companies. And the market research companies send out surveys to everyday people to find out what the public is thinking.

There are also several misconceptions about taking paid surveys online. Many advertisements will tell you that you can make up to $250 an hour taking paid surveys. Although it is possible to be compensated $250 for participating in an important study or focus group, the average paid survey will pay you between $2 and $20.

There are also a few different kinds of paid survey sites. There are paid survey directories, or databases, and there are the actual paid survey companies. A paid survey, or market research company, is the actual company that will send you the paid surveys. And also the one that will compensate you for your participation. An example of a paid survey company is NFO My Survey. NFO has been around for over 20 years and is one of the major paid survey companies on the internet. When joining a paid survey site like NFO you are notified by email when your participation in a paid survey is needed. You can then choose to take the paid survey or simply ignore it. You are told how much you will be paid for taking each survey and how long the paid survey should take to complete. Companies like NFO My Survey are always free to join. A legitimate paid survey company will never ask you to pay a fee to join.

Another type of site is a paid survey directory, or database.
Paid survey databases provide directories of paid survey companies. These are the sites
you go to to find companies that will pay you to participate in online surveys. There are several
databases you can join. But most online paid survey databases are not free. A site like SurveyScout charges about $35 for their directory of 490 paid survey companies. Others charge anywhere from $20 to $60 to access their paid surveys directory. Many people are fooled into thinking that when they join these membership sites they will automatically start receiving paid surveys. A membership site like SurveyScout does not actually send paid surveys. they are only a directory of companies that you join that send paid surveys online.

Before you spend $35 dollars for a paid survey database do some looking around. A good paid survey directory will have everything you would find in a paid membership site and is absolutely free. There is no need to pay to find paid surveys. In fact, why would you want to pay for free information? Paid membership sites are simply taking advantage of the fact that most people don't know where to look for this type of information. And once they pay and then find out that they paid for a directory, most people feel like they have been scammed. My advice would be to bypass a paid directory. And use a free paid survey directory.

If you are looking for a full-time income online, paid surveys may not be the thing for you. Although you can make some good money taking paid surveys online, more than likely it will not be enough to make you rich. On the other hand, if you want to make some extra money without much effort then paid surveys is the way to go.

The key to getting paid to take surveys online is joining as many of these paid survey companies as possible. Most paid survey sites will only send a few paid surveys a month.

So the logic is, the more paid survey companies you belong to the more paid survey invitations you will receive. And the more money you will make. I'ts a good idea to start off with around 10 to 20 good paid survey companies. Each one will only take a few minutes to sign up for and is well worth it. There are around 500 paid survey companies you can join. And once you have joined the main ones you can go back and join others to receive even more paid surveys. Of 500 paid survey companies I would have to say that there are about 50 that will send you paid surveys on a regular basis. The rest may only send one a month or even less. So starting with the top paid surveys is obviously the best way to go.

You must answer a few screener questions before taking a survey to see if you fit the profile for the type of person the company is interested in. After taking a few screeners you can start to see how you should answer to make yourself qualify. for instance, most paid survey screeners will ask you if you work in a certain industry, or any type of market research or advertising business. The answer to a question like this should almost always be no. They do not want people who know the market research business taking their surveys. And you will almost always not qualify for the paid survey.

Well now that you have all the information you need it's up to you to decide if paid surveys is for you or not. If you are interested in paid surveys I highly reccommend NFO My Survey, Global Test Market, Survey Savvy, Survey Spot, E-Poll, ECN Research, Lightspeed Research,
American Consumer opinion, Test Spin,GoZing surveys, Greenfield Online, and Opinion Outpost. There several more great paid survey sites. These are just my personal favorites.
